JAYCEE SMALLEY, CFP®

Jaycee Smalley began at New Capital as an intern in March 2015. After she graduated with a BBA from the University of Houston's accounting program in December 2016, she was promoted to the role of Administrative Advisor, where she handled client service needs and account administration.

In July 2019, Jaycee accomplished a significant achievement passing the CFP® examination and earning the title of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Following her certification, she was promoted to Financial Planner, where she works closely with New Capital clients in the comprehensive financial planning process. Starting in 2020, Jaycee expanded her role to include portfolio trading, rebalancing, and investment management.

Originally from McKinney, Texas, Jaycee moved to Houston in 2013 to pursue her academic aspirations at the University of Houston. She was an active member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, where she was elected as chapter Treasurer.

Jaycee lives her husband Fernando, and their two dogs, Bentley and Cleo in Garden oaks. Outside of her professional pursuits, Jaycee is passionate about exploring new destinations, spending time with her family and friends, and maintaining an active lifestyle. An ideal weekend for Jaycee includes getting a workout in at the local F45 gym and exploring Houston’s endless restaurant scene and culture.
