Deysi joined New Capital in the summer of 2024 as an intern, where she gained valuable experience in administration, communications, financial planning, and investment management. A recent graduate of the University of Houston, she earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Studio Arts in May 2024. Following her internship, Deysi was hired full-time as a Paraplanner, beginning her professional career in the financial industry.

Deysi’s responsibilities include gathering and analyzing client financial information, assisting in the development of personalized financial plans based on client goals, and preparing detailed financial reports. She also plays a key role in managing client data, including its collection, cleaning, integration, and reporting, to ensure accuracy and usability. Additionally, Deysi contributes to client communications through projects such as the New Capital Journal, social media initiatives, gifting, and more.

Originally from Houston, Deysi’s upbringing alongside eight older siblings instilled a strong work ethic and determination. Her academic foundation, coupled with her creative perspective, positions her to make meaningful contributions to New Capital. With aspirations to earn her CFP® certification, Deysi approaches this role with a focus on growth and professional excellence.

Outside of work, Deysi enjoys expressing her creativity through art, particularly drawing and ceramics, and expanding her knowledge through reading.
