Supporting Racial Equity
Across the country, communities are demanding an end to racial injustice and systems of oppression. The organizations below may help you understand the issues regarding institutional racism, approaches to funding the fight against it, and giving with an equity lens.
Through Fidelity Charitable, many donors recommend grants to nonprofits that work on behalf of black and brown communities, as well as those that fight to educate and drive long-term, systemic change to bring about a more just and equitable country. This list is not intended to be exhaustive or exclusive. Of course, there are a great number of other nonprofit organizations from large national organizations to smaller grassroots groups, and we encourage donors to explore the full range of choices for their charitable support.
