Please join us in welcoming Janelle Saunders to New Capital Management. Janelle will be assuming the Administrative Coordinator position, working with New Capital clients in many areas of client services and account administration, office administration, and more.

Janelle is currently enrolled at the University of Houston-Downtown at the Marilyn Davies College of Business and plans to complete a Bachelors in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources in December 2021.

Originally from Nassau, Bahamas, Janelle moved to Houston at the age of 10. She enjoys taking in Houston’s culture, spending time with family, and loves weekend road trips.

Janelle has a passion for problem-solving and bringing smiles to people’s faces. “I feel I have a natural gift at working behind the scenes, organizing and attending to details to contribute to the overall success of a project or goal. I am excited to join New Capital and foster long-lasting relationships.”

Janelle is undergoing training and will soon begin to be in touch with New Capital clients, but in the meantime, we’ve asked her to answer a few questions so you can get to know her better.

1. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I would continue to live in Houston but, I would love to own property in my home country, The Bahamas. I would love to travel the world and experience different cultures and ways of life.

2. What makes you laugh the most?

My fiancé makes me laugh every time we are together. He tells jokes and does things to make me laugh. He’s pretty funny in his own way.

3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza, hands down.

4. What is the best gift you have been given?

The gift of happiness. I am generally a bubbly and happy person and I love to laugh and have a good time with others.

5. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?

Social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest.

6. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

Teleportation. I think this could give me more time to enjoy life instead of commuting to different places. I could just be there in the blink of an eye.

7. What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would buy a home for my parents, my sister, and, for myself and my fiance. Then I would invest in real estate and an investment portfolio to create generational wealth for my future family.

Please join us in welcoming Janelle to the New Capital team.
